I think it can be good for kids to do something more physical than eating chips on a couch. I wonder, however, how is this affecting social behavior and eyes? If the work out is in a group setting I say this is a wonderful idea. If it promotes iscolationism (if that's a word) then I don't know if it's such a good thing.

I would say if a kid is going to play a video game the wii games are the best ones to play because it does get them active. But obviously a video game can never replace the real thing. Good article, very well written.

Not only is it good for kids who can't get out to play because of todays society, but also the older generation are catching on fast. Here's a report on a retirement community using it's wares to good effect http://shmyl.com/gjcqson.
