HSC's Marathon Team: Raising Funds & Raising Awareness

by Allison Krass, Charity Athletics Manager

HSC charity athletics team member Bridgid Rooney, who is running the Bank of America Chicago Marathon for HSC, recently promoted HSC via email to More Hip Than Hippie, an "eco-podcast".  The show’s hosts read her email on the show! To listen, go to www.morehipthanhippie.com and look for podcast #173.  Bridgid’s email is 17 minutes, 30 seconds into the podcast. (Side bonus: HSC got a link in the show notes.)

To support Bridgid in the upcoming marathon, visit her personal web page.

These days, all of HSC's marathon team members are working hard to raise money and gear up for Chicago's big race in October. To learn more about our charity athletics programs, click here.
