So true.Glad the secret is out that custodians make a BIG difference in the school climate in more ways than one. Congrats to Vern. In my 20 plus years of school nursing, I have noted that custodians are usually one of our "silent" partners. They make an impact in the successful implementation of school based health programs like handwashing before lunch, safe clean up after a blood or body liquid incident, consistent follow through on surface cleaning for students with food allergies and on and on. Historically, school nurses have recognized the custodians as one of our critical partners. "Keep on Keeping on." Phyllis Pelt
