Students and teachers from around the nation shared photos and stories about the conditions of their school buildings in the Through Your Lens contest. Now, these remarkable photos and stories illustrating the great parts and the troubling parts of our nation’s school facilities are part of the Through Your Lens Exhibit – online and on Capitol Hill!
We invite you to view the Through Your Lens exhibit! You can see the exhibit in two ways:
On Capitol Hill. The Through Your Lens exhibit is open in the Rotunda of the Russell Senate office building on Capitol Hill today through May 13, 2011. The building is open during regular office hours.
Online. Visit www.ThroughYourLens.org to view a virtual version of the exhibit online.
Please take a moment to encourage your elected leaders in Congress to view the exhibit on Capitol Hill and to support high-quality school buildings for all students, teachers, and communities.
For updates and to see photos, visit www.ThroughYourLens.org.
Through Your Lens is a collaboration of 21st Century School Fund, Critical Exposure, and Healthy Schools Campaign to raise awareness of the need for school buildings that support learning and provide a safe, healthy environment for students and teachers.
