One of the best things about sharing my Cooking with Henry stories on this blog has been hearing all of the stories from my friends and colleagues about cooking with their kids. And I get tips, too!
My friend Jen came across an ice cream parlor at the Jersey Shore (it's actually called The Ice Cream Place) that makes banana whip -- an easy frozen banana treat with a consistency similar to soft serve ice cream. She gave it a try at home with her food processor -- a big success!
"The best part about this is it takes 5 minutes -- not including freezing time -- and one ingredient," she told me. I can't wait to try it with Henry. Here is Jen's one-ingredient recipe so you can give it a try, too!
Frozen Banana WhipPeel two bananas, break them into chunks, put them in a freezer bag and freeze them. When bananas are frozen, put them in the food processor. It's that easy!
Enjoy!
