Your vote can help make HSC’s vision for healthy school food one of the “Top 10 Ideas for Change in America!” Healthy Schools Campaign has been selected as a non-profit partner in the Ideas for Change in America competition by Change.org. The competition employs a crowd-sourcing model to identify and build momentum around innovative ideas for addressing the challenges our country faces.
The top ten ideas from the competition will be presented to the Obama administration at a major event in Washington, DC and will be promoted though Change.org’s network of 1 million community members and more than 15,000 bloggers. This is an exciting opportunity for HSC to bring our message to advocates nationwide in the weeks leading up to the reauthorization of the Child Nutrition Act.
To advance to the next round of competition, HSC’s idea, “Give All Children Fresh, Healthy, Sustainable School Food” needs to be voted one of the top three ideas in its category by Feb. 18, 2010.
