The student chefs of Richards Career Academy High School, who placed second in HSC's 2009 Cooking up Change healthy cooking contest --
performed a cooking demonstration this week on the ABC-7 Chicago morning show!
The team also placed first in the 2008 healthy cooking contest and traveled to Washington, DC to prepare their healthy meal with White House assistant chef Sam Kass at a briefing on the future of school food. This year, the students created a healthy version of twice-baked shepherd's pie, which they prepared on the morning show.
