Dan Lesczcewicz, chef instructor at Tilden High School, says that Cooking up Change is unique because it gives kids a behind-the-scenes look at what it really takes to put together a healthy, delicious school meal. Plus, he says, as winners of last year's healthy cooking contest, the Tilden students earned the satisfaction of seeing their meal recognized nationwide.
