Samantha, a high school student photographer from Washington D.C., attended the opening of the Through Your Lens photo exhibit on Capitol Hill yesterday. There, she shared her photo "Rustic Atmosphere."
When asked about the A/C unit featured in the photo, Samantha explained,
"We often have to turn off the air conditioning unit to hear the biology teacher speak. We have to turn it off so that we can actually learn."

“We often have to turn off the air conditioning unit to hear the biology teacher speak. We have to turn it off so that we can actually learn.” – In some countries, this kind of situation is really happening. I feel sorry for these students who are unfortunate, but despite the situation they have, they just endure the situation for the sake of learning. Students deserve to have a conducive learning environment, in order for them to be able to focus in the classroom discussion.
