It's Halloween time again and for a kid, this is one of the most exciting times of the year. You get to dress up in a cool costume, go to fun parties and enjoy sweet treats. While it’s fun to get in the spirit and enjoy treats in moderation, the over-abundance of Halloween candy and cupcakes can leave us all searching for a spooky snack on the healthier end of the spectrum.
I came across this creative recipe for banana ghosts that delivers a great combination of sweetness, nutrition and holiday fun.The main ingredient in this recipe is a banana, with a bit of white chocolate for sweetness and a few currants, raisins or small candies for the face.
This cute banana ghost is simple to make, and fun to serve and eat! It still has chocolate sweetness, so you won't feel like you are missing out on the Halloween treats extravaganza, but it also delivers the nutrition of a banana, with lots of potassium and fiber.
